What is a Principle?

THIS PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Principles are short statements of truth or reality that can be applied to our lives.

It’s worth great effort to identify principles. Principles are housed in stories and life experiences.

Principle Bites are short summaries of principles that have changed my life and the lives of others. Each principle bite may include the following elements:

  • The Principle (a short statement of the point of the page; the bit of truth you can apply)
  • LeAnn Hunt Explains The Principle (a short explanation of the principle as clear and engaging as I can get it)
  • Coaching Questions (questions that help you think about your goals and your life based on the principle)
  • How This Principle Shows Up In a Goal Journal Page (examples of real goal journal pages)
  • So What – Application (How this principle could be applied to our real lives)

Because this work is research-based, I created short 1-page summaries of relevant research called Research Bites. If you’re interested in the research, follow the Research Bite links scattered throughout the principles to find the story of the experiments or theorizing and how we might apply the principles found in the research.
